Very nice work on the entire presentation.
I built the Tamiya 1/100 scale Me 262 this year and its a fine kit for its age, I hope Tamiya will update this kit and add some improvements or better yet start a whole new line of 1/100 kits.

Thanks Les. I agree with you, they are really nice kits.
They build very quickly...lots of room for detailing. Bill

Thanks Damian, glad you liked it. It's challenging to do an aircraft diorama other than it parked on the tarmac. I've always liked "in-flight" displays, so this is just a variant of that. Best Regards, Bill.

Bill, the damage on the B-17 looks quite realistic, I guess one hit of a 50 mm shell would have shred a B-17 to pieces or at least tear a whole wing off. Fortunatly for all the American bomber crews the Me 262 A1a/U4 didn't score a kill - one prototype only flew 2 combat missions before the war ended.
I have just finished my build of that aircraft in 1/48. If you like have a look on my Assembly Line thread (page 3) here in this forum.
Happy modelling!

This is a very nice diorama! and much better than waht I can do.
but the sharp "corners" of the box still take something away. Have you thought of "rounding" the edges of the box?

Thanks guys, I appreciate the comments.
@Torsten, guess it was another too little, too late development. I'll check your build out, I'd like to see a larger scale model of it.
@Drabslab, You're right, rounded corners would help the illusion.
@Sebastian, Thank you, glad you liked it.
