Pretty poor for me, but considering everything thats been going on in my life this past year I'm suprised I've managed to get anything finished at all.
Only "proper" model finished this year was a Tamiya P-47M, and it now resides in the 56th FG Museum at Halesworth forming part of the Lanny Lanowski display which includes his A2 jacket with the famous insignia, his RAF tunic and his medal ribbons.
The photo of Lanny which can be seen behind the uniforms is one of the reasons for my lack of bench time over 2012, as I started a picture framing business 12 months ago and it has been taking up a huge amount of my time.( very worthwhile though!)
The only other completion in 2012 was an Egg Plane which was a break from the usual heavily researched subjects I tackle and a very enjoyable little build it was too.
3 models are at the painting stage at the moment so hopefully 2013 will see more additions to the display cabinet......hopefully

I got back into aircraft modelling back in August (same time I joined this forum) and up to the end of the year I just completed 2 models. The Harrier GR9a (Airfix 1/72) was built as a test bed for testing out airbrushing and weathering techniques. Other than that, my plan is to build every post WW2 aircraft that has worn British markings, so RAF, Army Air Corps (my old unit), Fleet Air Arm etc, in 1/48th scale. To that end, I have just started an AH-64D, and I have an English Electric Lightning and a Phantom FGR2 waiting for their respective campaigns to start. Good luck for 2013 everyone!
