Here's my entry for the KotS III GB 2013, the MPM 1/72 Winnie Mae.

I'd like to open the fuselage door up and show a little of the interior if I can find enough pictures to recreate it accurately.

There are a few different versions of the Winnie Mae, mostly differing window placement and fuselage painting. I'll be modeling the "Winnie Mae" in which Wiley Post and Harold Gatty flew around the world from June 23 to July 1, 1931.

Some of the kit decals are marred so I'll have to cut the offending parts away from the decal.

I've separated most of the important parts from the sprue and now I have to cover over the 1st two windows on each side of the fuselage..............

Thanks for the replies everyone, I bought a resin replacement engine so I can open up the cowlings.

I'm still doing some research into the aircraft so I'll have
more soon,

Mark

Mark.

That little chunk of resin should make this really stand out, looking forwards to seeing what you pull of.
