Here's an idea I've had. I feel it could achieve two aims.

Has there ever been a "build off" of a specific kit? Like, say we proposed a campaign build off of one of Meng's new releases. Has to be a specific kit, but unlimited aftermarket parts and modding. At the end we use the MOM system to selected the campaign winners.

Seems like it would be fun and demonstrate value to a given sponsor.

It's a neat idea - and something we've never developed to quite that extent. I suppose you could call it a "build off" when Jean-Luc and I tackled Eduard's Fw 190D-9, but I fear I'd have come off second best if there'd been a vote for the "winner".

I reckon it'd be great fun to get a crowd of folks building the same kit - especially in tackling any problems in different ways. I guess the only way to see if it works is to try it. Why not suggest a subject in the Campaigns forum and see if you get enough takers to make it official.
