Hi there
I wondered what on earth had been going on! First there was just me and then another 25 replies in a day! :-)
KiwiDave's nailed it - a Sea Fury TT20... and it's dismantled (not crashed!).
Someone has obviously taken a degree of care in mounting the major components on palettes - hence my idea about a museum...
One mystery is the apparent blue paint on the prop blades...

As usual only the top half of the photo will open in my browser! I cant see the prop but I have to come at the problem from the opposite direction. How about it was never taken off its pallet? Could have been delivered ex-Hawkers or ex- other end-user (lots of people flew Furies) and then found surplus to requirements.
As I cant see the prop I dont know what sort of blue. Could it be a transport coating?
