Hi Mike

Beautiful! There's enough there for a complete restoration. :-)

Do you know if it was found in a museum's storage?

All the best

Same here, Just the red x's BUT I think I know what it is. It's a Russian Mig-25 that was buried in the sand. And can be seen at the web site called The Strategy Page. i.e. Go to the Gallery and you will find it.. US Forces found it and unearthed it. pretty cool pic's

Think this works, sometimes you have to use [url instead of img

nope, that don't work...says forbidden.
Besides, the only thing I want to turn up in Iraq would be a Nuke. Make it two.

OK, for all you privates out there, you know the drill:
If you can't see the pics try this: do a quoteon Mikeli's post . Then you see the adress. Copy and paste them as your address and ṿila, there it is!

Thanks, never knew that, but it worked. Hopefully I'll remember, I'm brain damaged as a wayward youth from excessive use of drugs, and suffer from CRS. Couldn't see anything in the photos though, had to download them, and lighten them in photoshop to see them. Now the really dumb question, what are they?

I'm so proud of myself, I actually read the directions, and uploaded the photos, lightened in photoshop, to my gallery. Oh this is an edited post also, figured that out also.... So now I have two lightened photos of unknown aircraft in my gallery for all to see

Looks like a Hawker Sea Fury T20 to me.

If it has been buried in the desert it should be well preserved. Some astute milionaire could do a nice restoration on that pile of bits.
