Well, if I'm counting right (which I doubt), that's lucky 13. Better get to work on my campaign proposal!

Here are my proposed rules. Let me know if they sound right to you or if I need to change anything:
1. Entry must be an aircraft from the RNAS, FAA, Merchant Navy, Commonwealth navy or RN operated aircraft from between the wars.
2. Can be an aircraft designed and built in any country but must be in British or Commonwealth colors and markings.
3. Need not be carrier aircraft.
4. No what-ifs.
5. Any scale; stand-alones, vignettes, dioramas OK.
6. Campaign will run from 5/1/13 – 11/30/13.
7. Enter as many as you like but each modeler will only get one ribbon.
8. Models must be unstarted at beginning of campaign.
9. At least one in progress shot (but hopefully more) of each model should be posted in the campaign thread and at least one finished shot (but hopefully more) in the campaign gallery.
10. Honor those web-footed pilots and crew members who threw themselves off perfectly good ships; and have fun!

Here's a small list of roughly 250 different aircraft used in the FAA.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_aircraft_of_the_Fleet_Air_Arm
Certainly, not nearly all are available at the LHS, past or present. A whole heap of them are, though. I for one, have the odd one of these in the stash.

There are more than I realizes in the FAA. I have several including a Miles Master.

Well there are a few more to that list like those captured aircraft during the war used as squadron hacks (Sm.79, Fw-190), also that list is not detailed example the Bristol Beaufighter although a torpedo bomber in RAF coastal command service, the FAA had Mk.II's which were used as second line night fighters by the time they got them.
If any one needs advice I have several very good books on the subject 'Squadrons of the Fleet Air Arm' (Air Britain) and 'British Naval Aircraft 1912 - 58' (Putnam) to name two.

While waiting to see if anyone else has anything to say about the proposed rules, here's something else to chew on. Proposed ribbons!
First, the classic White Ensign:
Ribbon sized:
Second, a bit of modification:
And that one ribbon sized:
The wings are kind of hard to see in the small size, but I think it gets across the Air Arm aspect better. What do you all think?

Michael, both designs are quite striking, I would add a board to the flag to set the design off.

I'm in! This gives me an excuse to build my 1/32 Sea Venom (Revell reissue of the old Matchbox kit) in Suez crisis markings.

So this don't kick off until May 1, 2014
That gives me plenty of time to clear up the other 20 or so campaigns that I'm in and get something to build here

Well, I had been thinking about a Sea Fury with Skippy on the side...
Was thinking the same thing! Built one a few years ago but it ran into ground fire (the wife's dusting).

Unfortunately the RAN never flew the Boomerang. They did fly the Wirraway as a trainer.

Good Lord Jessi, you're never happy are you? Remind me of my daughter (also named Jessi, oddly). Anyway, after two programs and some experimentation:
Happy now?
Seriously, I just learned how to make the background transparent so I could do this. Do you all like this better? No problem to change it now I've done the graphic.
