Wow! love your work with the water and big fan of all of your choppers. Is that scheme correct for a HU.5? I used it on my HAS.3 and it was pointed out to me that the markings where not correct for a HAS.3 and only came to be because of a mistake made at a museum.
Too bad that it will dry clear the white make it look like a stormy ocean.

thanks and as far as the markings are concerned they are more or less correct, I have seen lots of subtile variations and this is not supposed to be any specific aircraft just the idea of a rescue Wessex, but here is just one of the shots from Airliners.net

Well no wonder he crashed, he was too big for the airplane he was trying to fly!

That looks really good. I was wondering how you'd mount the helicopter to show it hovering. Perhaps your rescued pilot could be given a gloss coat to show how wet he is from the little swimming session he's just had?
Oh, and the RAF rescuing an RN pilot?

Fantastic work Douglas. Don't forget to upload a couple of photos to the
campaign gallery to get your nice shiny ribbon for all that hard work you put in
I did manage to get to the bench last weekend and started masking all the glazing on the Lancaster. Hopefully it'll be ready for priming this weekend.
