Excellent - we are approved!
Now, my next question is, would anyone like to design the ribbon
for the campaign, as I have literally no idea how to do it, and get it to the required size.
I would like the ribbon to be centred on a tiger's eye, with a few tiger stripes either side, and maybe a splash of orange top and bottom, but I'm open to all suggestions.

The finished ribbon should be 50 pixels by 20. Generally what I do is design at 500 X 200 then resize down to 50 X 20. Remember that whatever you design must be recognisable at the smaller size, which means that bold designs work better than complicated ones. Perhaps a patch of tiger stripes would work best.

I like that a lot, and it is still pretty obvious at the ribbon size. I'm perfectly happy to use that as the campaign ribbon - how does one go about attaching it to the campaign page?

I have 2 1/72nd Hasegawa kits in stock, and I'm on the hunt for decals to do this:

Don't think I'm going to have much luck finding the decals, although I do have decals to do this in 1/48:

Anything can happen, though, in the time frame before the campaign starts.

Hoping for the Hornet decals to come out and sting me. She's just to pretty to ignore.

I just saw this all new Tiger scheme, the first I've seen on a Tiffie, and surely a bump is justified. If one of the aftermarket decal producers can rustle up a set before the campaign gets under way, I don't see how I can avoid using it!

I was able to pick up a couple of kits recently:
Most likely going to go with the F-15. Its a fine kit.

Perhaps it should be said that the Tiger Meets are no longer just a European affair. The Tiger Meet of the Americas has taken place in North America since 2001, and was hosted by CFB Cold Lake in 2003.
Both the photos were taken during the 2003 TMOTA at Cold Lake

Hi! I have a question about this soon-to-be-started GB. I tend to only participate in GBs in either this site or one other site (ARC). Both the quality and friendliness of the modelers and the quality of models have made it an enjoyable experience. What does this have to do with our Tiger GB? Well, there is another Tiger GB also starting on Jan 1 on the other site. I would like to participate and share my build on both sites, but would not be able to work on 2 different Tiger builds due to other conflicts in life. Would it be OK if I post the same build on both site simultaneously? I would rather not have to decide on which GB I should participate it!
I hope this is OK with the Mods. My plan is to work on my first Hornet build with a Swiss Tiger meet scheme.
Have fun modeling!

I see no reason why you shouldn't participate in both campaigns. As I understand the rules of this particular forum, there would only be a conflict if you wanted to post the same build in two different campaigns within the Aeroscale network. I am sure that our moderator will confirm this, so welcome aboard Mike, I look forward to seeing your build!

It's OK to use one build in campaigns in two different modeling sites, as long as they're not both KitMaker sits. Since ARC isn't, you should be fine.
Alright everyone, I have no idea what sort of shenanigans I'll be up to tonight, so I am declaring this campaign open now. The Official campaign thread is
here. Please post your progress shots and discussion in that thread. This current thread will now be locked.
Looking forward to some very colorful schemes!
Michael
