Not to mention giving it a radical tailectomy in the process! To be honest I thought that you were going to do this one when you first announced the subject of your next build, and I wondered just how you were going to coerce the Monogram kit into that shape!
This may be slightly less adventurous, but still worth following

Justin, will be following your build with much interest. After seeing your modeling skills in action on your last build: Testors 1/48 scale SR-71, this also will be a really enjoyable ride.

Justin,
Nice to see you again... keep the modeling pace! I will be following with great interest. After all, it's a "century series" kit, and it supposedly has nothing to do with the amount of time that you need to invest in it to get it into right shape!
All the best,
Entoni

thanks guys.
Chris if you look a couple threads down at my sr-71 that was a full rescribe sir and I scratch built a lot of the plane it took over a year.this one shouldn't take near as long I hope
Entoni I don't know why but for some reason I'm stuck on these old kits.there cheap and its a little more interesting than just building a hasegaimya kit and slapping some paint on it. I only have a monogram p-61 left to rescribe still up in the air on that one might just go with the great wall kit.

Justin, I've thought about doing the GWH P-61 as well. Just might do my build when you do yours as sort of a duel build. Actually, I'd end up copying most of your work to tell the truth.

Justin, thanks, but I'm really not in your class. What you did on your SR-71 was amazing.

Justin,
Thanks. Should be a ton of fun, & a great learning experience for all that want to join us. Lets shoot for after your F102A project. I'm committed as the campaign leader on the Grumman Campaign that starts in 7/14 with two builds.

A very cool project. I am looking forward following the project.
I have a old F-5E that will need rescribing as well, can't wait to learn from you.

The glare shield looks a trifle better, but the rest of the cockpit doesn't look like much of an improvement on the cockpit Revellogram put in there 30 years ago.

Justin, your front office is really starting to look good. As Jessica said, that's some improvement from the original.

Justin, besides, once the fuselage halves are closed up, one won't see all that much of the cockpit. It's the overall finish that will make your model POP.

Last time you said that you completely rebuilt and rescribed the whole dang plane
I see this thing turning into another year long build.
Face it Justin, you just can't help yourself
