Guido,
Thank you.

The amazing thing is that they got the model itself dead on. Every part fit, well molded, and great detail with no heavy handedness. You would figure that the masks were a piece of cake. As for the canopies, the singe piece is perfect in fit and detail. No sectioned canopy can stack unless they make them super thin, and undersize each section a little by a little.

Working on the GWH P-61. What a great kit that is.

Outstanding. Can't get over the weathered finished - simply stellar. I had my doubts about the vac canopy but you pulled it off in style. Aces on a terrific build

Bro,
Thanks for your insights throughout the entire build. You weren't the only one who has some doubt about the vacuum form canopy sections. As for the weathering, it's getting closer to what I'm looking for, but it's still not there yet.

Terri,
Thanks for the kind words. Actually, I prefer my Hasegawa Dauntless build over the Devastator, just because it was a bigger challenge.

Damian,
Thanks so much for those more then kind words. I truly love sharing my builds and building experiences with all of the Aeroscale family. Believe me, I've learned more from all of you, then I could possibly thought possible.

Hope your following along on my P-61A build, as it's quite a learning experience for me. GWH has produced truly outstanding model.

You and me both Joel, the build logs here are awesome and an endless supply of tips and new techniques for me!

I'm always lurking in the background, especially when there are P-61s involved. Your build log and the group build are on my favourites list and I am planning a little dio with a seventy-tooth Dragon P-61 kit. I am hoping to get started in the next couple of weeks.

Damian, looking forward to your Diorama. I keep on thinking about trying to do one, just never get around to it. Never even did a vignette, or painted a figure. As a matter of fact, just the thought of attempting to learn how to paint figures scare the heck out of me.
