Thanks, Jessica. I had been looking at these sets from Voyager http://www.luckymodel.com/scale.aspx?item_no=PE%20TEZ029 and Lion Roar http://www.luckymodel.com/scale.aspx?item_no=LR%20LT0003 but just didn't know where to start. The Verlinden set looks very nice and all inclusive.

Russ, I've seen others use those templates, and they do work very well. Some of the larger art supply chains like Michael's has a pretty good selection of templates in the drafting dept.

My personal issue is that I keep on trying to use the Tamiya scriber, and I just wobble with it. I've had much better results using needles in a pin vise. The problem with that is that the channel that it creates has raised edges on both sides that have to be sanded off. The scriber tool actually carves the plastic. And that's my problem. It controls me, more then I can control it. At this point I'm sure it's a mental issue.
