Their website stated it was. Nice kit bit it could do for a modern retool.

Certainly a welcome Accurate Miniature's re-release. Too bad it didn't happen before I built the Hasegawa SBD-4. There is really no difference in the variants other then a single machine gun to duel guns, self sealing fuel tanks, increased armor, and the addition of a prop spinner.
So I think I'll pass on this. Rather wait for someone to release the Vindicator, as I'm really looking at a few on ebay.

I already have three of the Acc.Min. SBD-3's. So I'll be waiting to see something else as well.

Got already 2 of them in the Italeri reboxing and that's enough for me. Will start the first next month as a RNZAF Dauntless.
