So now they release a DH.9 two days after the final shipping day for Europe. So no WNW pesents under Kornbeefs tree this year.

Timing really sucks WNW. I know the UK is all but a third world country these days but please don't rub our noses in it.

I know what you mean Keith... But you've got to hand it to WNW – they do know how to market their products... Mmmmm A DH9 another favourite of mine But the Salmson is also very very nice... Choices choices...

By the way Dissilusioned of Kent, where in Kent? I lived in Maidstone for two years of my life...

Hi Mikael

Not far from Maidstone, a village close to Paddock wood.

Hi Keith

Ha – small world – I had friends staying near Nettlestead, so spent a lot of time in your neck of the woods. Very beautiful part of England

Hi there

Wow! First the Salmson and now a D.H.9! Even if it has missed the international Christmas post to Blighty, look on the bright side - we've got plenty to look forward to in the New Year.

The weird thing is, though, if I click on WNW's "Christmas Release" banner using I.E., it takes me the Junkers J.1! I wondered what everyone was on about!

All the best

What does this mean? only 2 Salmson and 2 DH 9 kits per customer? The late DH 9a is still listed as in progress?

I get the same thing with Firefox, but get the right thing with Chrome.. go figure..

@ Stephen, you can't order the Salmson yet. It is still listed as coming soon, so you can order only two DH9s.. if you are lucky enough to have $198 that is..

Hi Warren

Yep - I soon found it's fine with Opera too, but it had me bewildered to start with!

Hi again

Many thanks to Wingnut Wings! This beauty just landed on the Isle of Wight in time for Christmas!

Now, the only question is - can I wait until Christmas Day to open it?

All the best

Hi Keith

OK - I admit it... I just sneaked a peek, but the storm raging around the Island tonight means I've got my hands full putting pots and bowls out to catch the rain coming through the roof of Castle Aeroscale!

But - even that briefest of sneak peeks was enough to reveal a development in WNW kits that should bring a warm glow to many a heart (it certainly does mine) - weighted tyres as an option.

All the best

Ok as I am walking out the door to go to the grocery store. . .the "postmaster" (da boss) of our local office pulls up to my house and gives me a package at 11:37am. You don't have to guess. It contained two beautiful kits from Wingnut Wings.

1 @ #32035 AMC DH 9
1 @ #32959 Salmson 2-A2 "USAS"

No napping for this elf. Reviews to follow! Ho ho ho!

Mery Christmas to all

Nice one Stephen!

Great to see they got to you in time for Christmas!

It's going to be a fight between cooking the nut roast and doing a photo session here tomorrow! LOL!
