I like it a lot to be honest . Your effect with the black prop is duly noted , well done on getting different hues through out the black . Rest of the weathering so far is coming along ; well just awesome !

The change in the prop color is very difficult for me to see on my monitor. what I like to use is Nato Black, which is a grayish black color rather then start flat black (which other then picking out interior details with, I'm getting away from).
The bombs really turned out quite well, as there is a major difference in the RAF green. Well done.
Joel
Hi Joel,
Thanks for adding your comments.
I will see if I can post another pic which shows a bit of the blue hue in the prop.

The build is starting to move along quicker now as I near the end.
I worked on the chipping part of the weathering process.
Cheers,
Dave.

Dave.
Nicely done with the chipping effect. You kept it to a min, and never over did any one area.
Looking forward to finally seeing the finished pictures of your Typhoon IB build.

Really an outstanding job, Dave. As good as I've ever seen.
The only part I would question, is if one or both of those landing lights would have been painted over. Often, they were. None-the-less, you've done an amazing job!!

A beautiful build, very well done.
It is nice to see British ordnance with the correct colour fill bands, light green
Just one little observation though they would more than likely have been painted deep bronze green. They do look good though

Dave,
I've been a follower since day one, and have immensely enjoyed your build blog. Excellent presentation, with equally well presented photographs.
The finished Typhoon IB is a outstanding model. Perfectly built, painted, decaled, and weathered with what I like to call that "used but not abused" look.
Thanks for taking so much time sharing it with us.

Hi Ben,
Thanks for the comments. They are much appreciated.
Regarding the landing lights these were not painted over on Typhoons. The lens was clear and a coloured light bulb was used. Thus I drilled a whole in the lens and dropped some red clear/green clear paint in each whole to represent the bulb.
Cheers,
Dave.

Greetings Mal,
Thanks a bunch for dropping by having a look and commenting on the build. I must say it is very much appreciated on my part.
Regarding the bombs. An excellent source of British World War 2 ordnance advised that the bombs would be painted RAF Dark green. I used this colour and faded them out a bit with dust and dirt. However, I can see your point as it looks like some were also painted this deep bronze green.

Joel, s special thank you goes out to you as well for following this build from the start and making your comments as I hobbled along on this one.
I see that there are almost 5,000 views of this build, a fairly big number, yet relatively few people have taken the time to comment. So I do really appreciate the effort you and Terri took to make this an enjoyable build.
