News from down under! I heard they were doing one of Jacobs' machines.

"To install the top wing, we needed to move the Triplane to the back of the hangar to access work benches to stand on. It was a bit of a struggle but with many hands from surrounding hangars we got it all together in the end. One of the plusses of a big friendly aviation community. This all happened under the gaze of pioneer explorer Lincoln Ellsworth's historic Antarctic Aeronca 'K', NC18888 'The Polar Star', which dangles from the roof - a future project for the Classic Wings hangar!"

Just a little update. The cowling has been fitted and that is the last of the 'major' work. Now it is details...Many details, while the team work on, completion of one of the most exquisite pieces of woodwork I have ever seen, the propeller, continues.

As many will know, Omaka has a number of 'Tripes.' This is one that will take away many breaths.
