Refresh my memory will you add edge tapes to the wings?

Stephen,
Given the constant deterioration of the decals with handling my plan was to add edge tapes after completing the majority of the rigging. I'll be cutting some length-wise Lozenge material for that later today and hopefully get it more or less chip free using a brand new #11 Blade. I was thinking leading and wingtip edges only as I can't see any trailing edge applications on the photos I've studied. I've also reviewed any materials I have on the subject and the comment that trailing edge tapes were not applied in many cases is my logic, although trailing edge tapes would be simple given the straight vs. scalloped trailing edges on the aircraft. I just reviewed your Tutorials here as well and don't see any contrary info.
This approach of course means a follow on touch up of the pastel shading and weathering and another sealer coat; frustrating as the absence of the chipping problems would have allowed a completion of the process in one step prior to assembly. "She's a slippery pig, that"!
Any thoughts or perspectives on the trailing edge logic would be much appreciated; what says the mentor??
Cheers,
Lance

I completed this Build two days ago. Edge Tapes were added, all rigging completed, final weathering done, and landing Gear finally installed. Heres a few general shots and a sample of miscellaneous detail shots.
...........the pile of debris on the wing surface has since been brushed off!
............and a few views of the underside and the Spoked Wheels.
A very well engineered Kit and a pleasure to build from the first step. A DIII Version from this Company would be a welcome addition to this Modeller's display case.
Cheers,
Lance

Only one word describes it....... Exquisite.
But, more words are due; love the wire wheels, great subject, museum quality.
Ps. Welcome to the wonderful world of retirement.

Lance, I'm sure many words will be said of the high quality workmanship you've put into this model. It's more than worthy of the many kudos and attaboy's.
I'd just like to add that there's a contest in Edmonton on June 7. It might be nice if you don't bring it to show, and give us lesser types a chance.

Thanks, All, for the positive comments. It's great motivation when feedback such as this comes from those who share the Hobby and know of what they speak through their own knowledge and results.
Jessie, PM later today regarding info for feature;
Ben, I'll PM you as well; I suspect it's Edmonton on June 7 for the Western Regional you mean??
Cheers,
Lance

Hi Lance
Absolutely stunning! I have to admit I'm playing catch-up on your build, and it's jaw-droppingly good! We've got to get this on the frontpage!
All the best
