Hi everyone,
I've got my hands on the new Austro-Daimler 120PS Aero Engine in 1:16 scale by Wiener Modellbau Manufactur. Here is my first look review: This beauty of a kit is designed and produced by Peter Plattner. It's a multi-media kit that that contains resin, photo-etch, CNC milled push rods and detail wire. Here are some pictures............
The engine block.....................
The cylinders...............
The magnetos and mounting fixtures.................
Three different types of exhaust pipes to choose from : long and straight, long and curved, short and curved
More plumbing and detail parts....................
Spark plugs.......................
Rockers and linkages..............
Photo-etch......................
Wire detail.......................
CNC milled push rods.......................
Here are pictures of the incredibly detailed engine built by Peter Plattner.
I'm really excited to start this kit!!
