Terri, simply an outstanding build. I'm really impressed. And just think, you didn't have to add a 2nd wing, and spend countless hours rigging your build.

Your weathering techniques are simple, yet very effective. thank you for sharing the secrets of pastels with us. The only thing you never mentioned is if you're able to shoot them through an airbrush?

Hello Joel

Yes , much faster build then doing a WW 1 fighter . Glad that you enjoyed the build . Haven't shared all of my secrets yet , but will share a few more in the future . What I really like about working with this medium is no harsh chemicals . Play around with them and have fun .

I did mention it , last post on page one No you can't spray this . It's to grainy .

Terri, if you did, I missed it. Still haven't gotten to Michael's for a set of pastels. Off the next two days. Super Bowl Sunday, and doctor stuff all day Monday, but I'll try.

I'm still two full eras up on you with the F4B Phantom 11 on the bench.

Hello Terri!
What a nice build! The 190 is a favourite of mine, I think it has an appealing brutal look to it and your version is fantastic.

About the pastels; are all the stains - exhausts, gun smoke stains, panel lines, etc. - made with pastels? I think I must try this...

That's very, very nice. I'm liking that one a lot

Would you be willing to write up a "How To" for your pastel weathering technique? It's exactly the kind of simple technique the How To series was made for, and I'm sure it would be a popular article.

I'll 2nd what Jessica & Mal have said. If you can teach this old dog a few new tricks, then your pastel methods will "revolutionize" the traditional weathering techniques most of us use on Aeroscale.

See how just one single wingy thing with a prop has turned you into a star.
