Hi Michael
Thanks for the reminder we're underway. Time to start choosing what to tackle. I'm spoiled for riches in this one - one way or another, it's gonna be fun!
All the best
Rowan

A slightly larger Yak 3 will be my entry.
Inside the box
I've had a spray around with RLM 02. It's not quite exactly the correct shade for Soviet interiors, but it's not all that far off either.
I'm undecided whether I'll close up the nose, or leave the engine exposed in all its glory. The small bits look really tempting.

Mine will also be a Zvezda Yak-3 with eduard PE and Masks.
Then I have a Yak-23 from Ardpol ... but it is not very likely I'll tackle that resin kit...

Hi Steffen
I'm fighting the temptation to do a Yak UT-1 or Yak-18, but I'll probably will pitch in with a Yak-23 - the Bilek kit with a RES-IM cockpit, as I owe Petr at Modelimex a build of it.
All the best

Here's the little Zvezda Yak-3 OOB
Next to the Land of the Rising Sun Campaign Contender:
I consider this one done.
Fitting and detailing could be better I admit.
Small and fragile, it was a nice, fun build.
Decals could be much better too.
