Works for me. I think I've got a Hudson, Ventura (started?), Lightning (or 2), Neptune, Starfighter, Shooting Star, Constellation and a Blackbird (or 2) in the stash. My F-94 is already slated for the 1st gen fighters campaign. yeah, I'm good.

I've got a Lockheed or two which can fit into this campaign

Unhappily this logo doesn't reduce well. At 50 X 18 it becomes a faint mishmash of chicken scratch

pixels are cruel. they do not adapt to diagonals well.
I like the black and white stripes.
here's a simplified version

Hi Jonathan
That ribbon's got definite potential. Could you incorporate the star with the simplified stripes?
Count me in for this campaign.

I tried and tried to make a decent five pointed star but the big square pixels are fighting it.
I did manage to preserve the art deco type face pretty well

I was going to propose a Skunk Works campiagn later in the year for 2015 but this would allow more scope so I'm in with either the Connie, U-2 or SR-71 I have in the stash.

Hmmm, I actually like the other one (with the thinner bars) a bit better.
Good work Jon, I'm a bit bummed that the Winnie-Mae fizzled graphically, but these look like they'll tell a better story.

Hi again Jonathan
I messed about and got this:
But I prefer what you've just come up with. It's definitely better with the name included.

Id like to see this campaign run in 2015. My concept would limit the eligible craft to before the 1995 merger.
May I ask why? I saw a Lockheed campaign and immediately thought of this...

I didn't make the decision, but I like it...
As a former General Dynamics employee on the F-16 project, it galls me to see Lockheed all over MY airplane. I bet a lot of Douglas, North American and McDonnell feel the same way about Boeing retro naming their planes.

yeah, thats about it. And we did have this very discussion when starting up the Douglas campaign.
LM is a different company, with a wide diversity of legacy products many unrelated to Lockheed.
Neil, I understand your program of building F-16s, its a fabulous project, but doesnt quite fit with what I had in mind here, sorry to disappoint.
