got some test castings from Floyd and so here it is again but now in resin, will begin the painting soon.

And we'll be working on a couple of heads and maybe a new arm position

this one will have the famous Air Cav Stetson, this is it so far.







so you Air Cav guys let me know if this looks right to you, it will have the crossed sabers and the cord around the base of the hat but I did it over three times to try and get the shape right. This is the one thing I have been pretty worried about because I know how much it means to the Cav so please be honest about the shape.

Love the head without the helmet.

As far as the Stetson goes, I'd like to droop the front slightly and raise the back slightly. I'll email you the photo which I want. If we can't do it then no worries as it looks good.

how does this look? still need to add the braid and the crossed sabers but the hat shape is done. The mustache is a tribute to you Floyd.

insignias on the hats and the braided cord, I am hesitant to add a rank insignia so the modeler can decide what rank to use, I went ahead and did the flatter version hat also as it looks like a lot of the ones I see in books but it will be up to Floyd to produce the ones he likes of course.

Oh I'll definitely do the Stetson with attitude. I love the curl. It looks great. I think we should see how much your guy charges to cast these.

The painted figure looks great too. It will look great on the instructions.
