Bump Time
Less than 1 month to go. I think I've made a decision about which kit I will build. I still have time to change my mind.
Other possibilities are a Ki-27 or Piper Cub in military markings.
Any pointers about this kit?
Take care,
Don "Lakota"

Would the Polikarpov I-5 be alright for this campaign? original front line service was from 1931-1936 before being replaced and handed over to training squadrons, but were pushed back into service after Operation Barbarossa and used up to 1942.

Cbacon84, as far as the aircraft will be finished as one used during WWII, it will fit in that campaign. Otherwise, It will just open Pandora's Box...

just to make sure I'm understanding your post right, if its painted as one that was used in WWII its fine. Otherwise no.

Howdy Y'all
Will my A5M Claude work if I paint it in pre-1941 markings? I was planning on using the scheme on the box art.
Thanks,
Don "Lakota"

My entry to the build is going to be the Soviet I-5 fighter which will be in 1941 markings from when it was pulled back into front line serves after the lose of most of the Soviet air force during Operation Barbarossa. Its going to look like the one in the background although according to the paint instructions it will be all green rather then two tone aluminum and green.

Coming up on the start for this one in just a couple of days. Any ribbon ideas?
I might want to get in with a Gladiator. Thinkin' about it.

Don, you got me with that question... I believe that as far as it was use in China after beginning of WWII (September 1, 1939) I am fine with this. I know that officially Japan "join" the WWII in December 1941, but for this campaign you can use it.
