A fellow named Steve Barlow noted this.

"I saw a post that the Triplane sold out fastest so I checked and here is the results of which sold out first (number of months available before selling out) starting with the fastest and progressing down
W.29--18 months
Duellist (DH.2/E.III)-- 22 months
D.VII (Fok) -- 24 months
Triplane -- 25 months
LVG C.VI and RE.8 (tie) -- 42 months . . ."

Graaar! Missed my window!

As of two weeks ago I was making the choice on SE.5a or the Triplane and went with the former - looks like lost that lottery...

Maybe a new Duelist in line?

It also planned to buy, but I bought the Fokker DVII
A Triplan was supposed to be the second. I made a bad choice and the only remaining mażenia

I have captured Sopwith Triplane, with Roden

Hi there

In true Mark Twain style, the re-appearance of the Hansa-Brandenburg W.29 gives hopes that some of the "sold-outs" may not be as extinct as might have been feared.

I'm still glad I've got my Tripehound safely in the infamous Stash though.

All the best

I'm lucky enough to have secured all of the WNW "sold-outs" so far, but it does make me wonder which one will sell out next. There are a few of the older ones I want to secure, before they turn into sought after and really expensive e-bay items...

I would hazard a guess that the next one to go could be one of the early Albatroses or perhaps another Fokker?

Less worried about Albatros running out - there are 3 kits representing Johanthisthal DV, D.Va and D.Va OAW - with plastic to make either one in every box.

Fokker kits are more threatening at this point - Fok. took me by surprise
