Too funny. Looks quite good despite all the hate.

Can't possibly mistake that for anything but a Bf 109
We haven't had our obligatory German entry in the MOM yet this month, hint hint...

From the hated Eduard Profipack 8286 ....
Nice one, Frank! But why "hated"? I've build this kit also and enjoyed the clear details and the perfect fitting. At least it looks like a Bf 109. Well done!
I don't care about the nonsense that the "self-appointed experts" say and write. Most of them are modellers of the kind "I know everything but build nothing". Build first, then critisize!
I hope, Eduard brings this kit as a Weekend Edition, because I need a ship load of it. The sooner, the better.
Happy modelling!
Torsten

I enjoyed working on this kit. It wanted to be built. The last time I felt that was Tamiya's 1/48 A6M5/5a Zeke kit, which is one of those perfect plastic model kits that makes you feel satisfied when you're done. (Unfortunately, my Zeke was severely damaged during a move otherwise I'd share it here. So I'll build another one.)
There was some negativity expressed in English-language forums about the Eduard G-6 kit's dimensions and some of its details. It's died down but I'm certain some of those railing against it will welcome's Eduard's retooling of this kit, due later this year according to Vladimir Sulc's editorial in Info Eduard Jan 2015.

Beautiful build.
I have a couple royal class versions of this kit and I am happy that I have them. It might be slightly overscale at 1/4734 instad of 1/48, but I can live with it.
Thanks for sharing

Frank,
Simply an outstanding build. Excellent camo paint scheme, and your decaling does indeed look painted on.
And yes, from what I do remember, there was a general out cry from the rivet counters that this kit was indeed over sized, as Eduard said they were in error, and have made the proper corrections for future releases. There was an excellent build here on Aeroscale on how to go about correcting those issues if one cares to.
Your build looks like a perfect Quarter scale replica to me.
