Hi Joel ,

That's what I used . Woodland scenic turf , not really impressed with it . I feel for the effect I'm looking for this isn't the right stuff for it . I recall someone mention on another site about grass mats . Very realistic , looks like real grass .

I think the company is "Reality in Scale" that sells the mats. They look pretty good but I'm not sure of the scale.

I'm surprised that was your impression. I know a few model railroaders, and they love the stuff. I don't recall if there is a difference for what products they use depending on scale.

I really like that grass as well. Compared to the woodland scenic, their grass looks just like ground up lichen.
