Thanks for stopping by. I'm really glad that you liked my most modest of efforts. As for the sway braces, I had to file and sand the tops of each one, which wasn't the easiest thing to do because they're so small, and there is a seam in each of the groves on the station where they fit. At least those were easier to deal with. I can assure you that while they look close, they're all a little crooked to it's matching pair. They do help to give those stations a finished look. Don't laugh, but they're painted with Testors Metalizers.

With the summer holidays, a bit of travelling and generally spending very little time behind the computer (and the modelling workbench!) I missed the whole process on this one! Nicely done Joel, it's a seriously cool aircraft. I saw some flying in France(!!!!) in 2003 and didn't believe my eyes: later on I realised they were SINGAPOREAN and did their training out of Cazaux in France!

Now I'm off to find that Ventura of your's...

BTW I have that kit too but I prefer the look without the hump...

Figured that the reason you haven't been around too much of late, is due to the summer weather, vacation, etc. I really do appreciate you stopping by and checking out the Scooter build. Glad that you like what you've seen.

Today was the 1st day that I even opened up the PV-1 Ventura box, so there isn't a blog started as yet. I can tell you that this will be a really interesting build with a healthy dose of detailing with AM parts, and a lot of scratching building by yours truly. Well, just enough to make it interesting.

Looking forward to seeing your next update on the Me 262.

Glad that you've been able to checkout the A4-F Scooter build. For some reason I've always been partial to the hump versions. Don't know why, but given the choice, I always pick one.

Thanks for stopping by. I'm really glad that you like my little Scooter. As for Eduard's idea of taking another manufacture's kit, and adding AM parts to it, it does work with the right parts. The Hasegawa kit is a little Gem on its own. Just a great build.

The F2A-3 Buffalo is indeed the Czech 1/32 kit, and one of the most challenging builds I've ever taken on. I'm really quite happy with how it turned out. The F-15C is the GWH kit, and is as close to a perfect OOB kit as one can get. They really corrected every mistake from their 1st offering. This let me concentrate on painting, and weathering, as my models are strictly for display.
