Brewster's Buffalo has long suffered under a tarnished reputation brought about by poor tactics of its principal user, the US Navy. They tried to use it as if it were the last of the Great War dogfighters rather than its true identity as the first of the American powerhouses which came to dominate aerial combat. The error was compounded by the RAF and RAAF, who also mistook their tactics. It was left to the Finns to salvage the Buffalo's reputation.

Joel, beautiful work. I love the faded finish and the weathering on the cowling.
Best wishes,

Good looking Buffalo Joel, nicely done. A nice paint job with just the right weathering, not overly done. I love the wire antenna, nicely done along with the engine.

Very nice work, Joel. You nailed the maritime tropical effects and weathering on your Buffalo to great effect.
