Yeah! What the heck? I'm no water bomber pilot, but exactly how low can they go with that? Desperate times...

According to Wikipedia, it could do its attacks while flying at a height of 400 to 800 feet (120–240 m), at approximately 140 kn (260 km/h, 160 mph), configured as if it were on approach for landing.
Evergreen's marketing video:
So far the concept hasn't really taken off compared to aircraft such as the Martin Mars or C-130. It got used a few years ago in Isreal, and there are still plans to convert a newer 747 but it's limited in its close-quarters maneuvering. I wouldn't want to fight a fire in the mountains with it, but in flatter areas, and fires a long way from the base it has some use.
The DC-10 is a bit more realistic, and there are also several BAe 146s which have been converted recently which are much more realistic than a 747.

Thanks Jessica
I watched the Evergreen video! This will be in demand more it seems with all the droughts around North America
Good subject for a future campaign.

I don't see any guns on it.
And a pram ("baby buggy", where I grew up) is certainly a vehicle.

I think a figure, even without a vehicle would be a valid entry, the rule says "Any model of any scale and any type"

As long as the model is built as used in civilian use it would be welcome!

I would like to join in. I will probably build an AMT 1/48 scale Stinson Reliant, though a 1/48 Lockheed Vegaa is possible too.

Hey guys,
Not sure about this one but I'll ask anyway... I have acquired a Tamiya Ferrari 312T3 in 1/20th, it's civilian alright but I haven't seen a lot of cars (or race cars!) so far, so just curious if this would be acceptable.
Thanks,
Christian
