starting a build of the old Matchbox Puma that has been rereleased by Revell Germany. It is an old kit and it shows but has some cool stuff to offer. I will be opening up the entire engine deck including the APU and transmission.

this is the aft cover for the APU area, I added some structure to the inside as it will be visible.

Coming along nicely as usual. I built one of these a long time ago. It is a great kit. I'm sure it will look awesome when you are done with it.

Thanks Fred and Gino, here is some more progress, the upper deck needs a lot of detail in the form of structure and piping and wiring so here it is so far

Excellent work.
Can I ask, is that plastic rod you are using?

The white colored stuff is plastic rod and sheet and the silver stuff is fine solder, the model is molded in multiple colors also like black, grey, and green. I will use some more rod and solder after the painting begins in other colors so it will look more realistic.

did the seat covers out of putty to look like sheep skin, the IP is the kit part painted with epoxy for the glass faces.

the dials in the IP are painted and then a drop of five minute epoxy is used for the face. this is a pretty good molding of an IP and with just some careful painting you can bring out the molded in dial faces so I can not take all the credit for it.

Beautiful work on the cockpit. I like the flattend colors very much.

How big will this model be?

Thanks Jelger
this is a 1/32nd scale model so it will be about 15 inches from nose to tail, I will be folding the rotor blades so it will fit in my case, it is a big model.
