Awesome choice Jesper, that plane is so ugly it's positively gorgeous! I have had a soft spot for it ever since I saw the GAU-8 Avenger rotary cannon it's built around!

The A-10 is also one of my favourites, but this is the first build of one of these birds in many years.
I think I will go with the European standard camouflage and shark mouth.
I am very tempted to do the "Playhog" or "Let's roll" schemes, but the green amouflage and the shark teeth are to iconic to pass up.
More to follow when I get started.

[quote]Looks nice, Sal. Is this the Revell kit? I have that in the stash and was wondering of the quality and fit were good.

This is my entree to this campaign almost straight out of the box (Airfix support effort!)
Its an easy built
The office got a bit of attention with some scratch built thrown into it and as the aircraft will show on the ground ready to go normally the aircraft would have a ladder attached to it so I decided to replicate a typical Lightning ladder with some evergreen.
Painted in several silver and aluminum colors
Now I busy with the decals however there are a lot,...

I'II build this for the campaign, Arado Ar234B-2/N Nachtigall.

I am done with construction on my A-10 Thunderbolt. Construction has been more troublesome than expected. Don't get me started on aligning 12 x mk. II iron bombs on two multiple racks without any location pins.
Anyway, I am happy with the look of this beast. It is big in 1/48!
Next is the three color camouflage and the pilot and cockpit. I hope to be able to make this A-10 fully bombed up for this campaign, but I will be pressured on time.
Is there a chance to extent this campaign for another month? I really want avoid rushing this build.

Keep at it Jesper! I might consider an extension if enough folks want one but since we still have over 2 weeks left I'd like to wait and see where everyone is.

OK, thanks. Painting is progressing although with some hiccups, so maybe I will make it. Just trying to avoid rushing it.

I’m in!
Lots of slick aircraft on this campaign, but this “Lightning” vehicle blows them all away with its six cylinder engine thrusting it forward at a blistering 80km/hr (nearly 50 miles per hour – at least on good roads.)
Presenting the backbone of the Wehrmancht – the amazing Opel Blitz (Lightning) 3-ton military truck!

Hi Jesper
Yes, the little Blitzes are 1/100 scale wargaming pieces.
I like your A-10 with its subtle green-grey-green camouflage; looks mean!

Initial paint is on; one truck will be Eastern Front vehicle, the other Afrika Korps. Both trucks were primed and then base coated with Tamiya acrylic German Grey (XF-63).
The one on the left was highlighted with Dark Grey (XF-24) and the one on the right with Desert Yellow (XF-59). The yellow seems a bit dark, so I'll go over it again with Deck Tan (XF-55)to lighten it up.
