As a tribute to the late Edgar Brooks (Mr Spitfire) post a picture of a completed Spitfire model.

Blue skies Edgar.

Maybe we should launch a Spitfire campaign as tribute?
We take the Spitfire models in each scale that Edgar was most enbthusiastic about and release a foto feature of all finsihed models next year on 20 November
The mission: Beat the stash.
Almost conquered: MIG-29, Blackhawk, Skyray, Skyraider, fouga
Main battle:Demon, Skyhawk, F-14, CH-53
Stash reserve:Blackhawk, CH-46, 47 en 53; SU-7, Eurofighter, mohawk, hellcat, F-16D, 6x Fouga Magister, Voodoo

Mal,
That's really an excellent idea, and a fitting tribute to Edgar who literally dedicated his later years to increasing the Spitfire knowledge base.
Here's my Eduard's 1/48 scale Spitfire Mk IXc that Edgar contributed much insightful information and suggestions.

...so that would be all of them, then?

Not so impatient, young woman, I just returned home from work.
Here's my tribute to Edgar and the plane he loved so much .... RIP

We had a memorial campaign for Russell Anderson, so there should be enough time in 2016 for an Edgar Brooks Campaign. I would be in.

While I don't do many campaigns these days, I would sign up in a second for a Edgar Spitfire campaign.

Hi there
We're working on organising a tribute to the amazing contribution Edgar made to Aeroscale and elsewhere. Meanwhile, I'd definitely be up for an Edgar Brooks Spitfire campaign.
I've so many Spits begging to be built and the tragedy, of course, is that I won't be able to turn to Edgar for advice again. There are so many questions I never got 'round to asking...
All the best

I'm hearing a groundswell for an Edgar Brooks Memorial Spitfire campaign. Should we run it for a full year to send our Spit Guru into the wild blue in style?

Upon further consideration, I realized a solicitation of opinion was unnecessary. Of course we need an Edgar Brooks Memorial Spitfire Campaign. The official thread is
here. You can enlist
here. Let's make a good showing in Edgar's memory!
