Well since you asked....
Paint is going down but I've not had the time to do much in terms of building. Moving house in five weeks so I don't expect too much progress.

Maybe that will give me a chance to catch up with your build - if I can get started that is

Time to update the campaign thread !
The interior detail is done and the fuselage halves glued up. The modified bomb bay doors are on and the Lanc is really coming to life.

Hi
I am planning on building a M10 Tank Destroyer v StugIII
I have my M10 ready to go
I still have to get the StugIII kit and maybe pressed for time as I am heading to Europe in a couple of weeks, but fingers crossed.

There ya go guys, let's put on a little steam!
I've actually made a small start on the 1/32 MiG-21 and will be able to concentrate more on it once I finish off a couple of other things. Think positive, I WILL be done in time!

Good luck on the Mig as well Michael !
I'm approaching the finishing line with the Lanc but there are still lots of little jobs to do before I can call it.

I've started posting photos of the finished Lancaster in my blog but here are the first two to satisfy the Duel campaign and they'll go in the campaign gallery

I figured I would give you aircraft boys some tanks to look at. This is a good intro campaign for me as my first builds after getting back in to the hobby are going to be a Panzer I through Panzer VIB and representative opponents from among the Allies. Alas, I have already finished my KT so KT vs IS2 is out. Instead I will go for Panzer III vs Somua S35. Pictures to follow!
While the Somua has been finished for a while, I regret that cold weather (who would have expected this in December?) has prevented me finishing the paint job on the Pz III, so I shall concede defeat on this one. Turns out that superior planning allowed the French to win.
I have also learnt to ideally only sign up for campaigns finishing in the summer

Ah, commiserations Richard although the Somua was a nice model.
It seems that this campaign has been a war of attrition and many a planned model has fallen by the wayside.

I fear the MiG-21 succumbed to the "life is too short to build bad models" syndrome as well. Not one of my more successful campaigns. Oh well, you win some you loose some!

Paul, great to see your Lancaster finished. Your six is quite safe for now. I stranded with the cockpit on my Bf110, so I guess that with be my hangar queen for 2017.
Happy new year all!

As I said, you win some, you loose some. Congrats to Paul on finishing a great model. As this one comes to a close, I wish you all a happy new year and I'm sure we'll see each other around the hanger!
