Hi all,
today is the first day of Nuremberg Toy Fair 2016. Sadly I have to work so I can only drive down to Nuremberg on Friday (but I'll stay til Monday). Looking forward to meet a bunch of people there and of course have a chat or sneak peek on things to come. As always I have gathered a small list of announced news already. These come mostly from catalogues and company websites. The info is incomplete and will be so, but I try my best to add things that I see:
Nuremberg 2016 List
I hope I will get some pictures soon, but this did not work last year so do not hold your breath, that somethings coming today. Maybe tomorrow, surely on Friday evening from myself.
Questions welcome .. I will try my best to find out (or maybe Jean-Luc as we will meet there)
all the best
Steffen

I actually had a short look to their website and it says tickets can only be bought by industry members not regular visitors... Is this true?
Anyway, will be following this topic closely

Hallo Christian
That is true. You can see a lot of private people there though as shop owners and other business people can get tickets. I have a press accreditation as has J-L who writes for Tamiya Mag France.
viele Grüße
Steffen

That Ho-229 at the end is beautiful. What an effect with the wood!

Hi Steffen
Thanks for the pics. Airfix's big car-door Tiffie looks as gorgeous as expected, and I'll definitely bag their new 1:48 Ju 87B. Totally off-topic for Aeroscale - the new Maschinen Krieger kits look great fun!

Cheers guys,
well the Horten looks good, but in my opinion ZM kits are not as good as they pretend to be. Nothing bad but nowhere near Tamiya and the like. I am interested most in Eduards new 109, but I also have a few wishes from other lines...
If Ma.K. was 48 scale I would have tried it already. I do not like the Dust stuff though .. Kow has this special feel in his designs that lets these look cool instead of just brute "re-glued" ww2 kits a la Dust ... BTW I am aware that it is kind of stupid to focus on scale on these kitbash sci-fi kits .. .but that's me.
I have added a small gallery from my pal Volker who arrived today .. this will grow over the coming days:

Hi again,
at the moment I am uploading my first batch of photos. While I wait some info. Jessie the Yak-52 is a new tool of ARK origin. The Eduard press conference was interesting. The things that are in the catalogue and limited editions were added to my list (upload soon). The P-51 B/C and D/K are in the works but will not see light this year. Chances are that the first Fw 190 (A-3/A-4) will be ready by February 2017 ... but as always it will probably get later. The Tempest will be scheduled sometime after that.
Dragon is not here, rumor says it is belly up and tools for sale.... but no confirmed info on their state.
So now here is my gallery Steffens pictures (BTW find J-L... he is hiding besides a U-Boot)
EDIT: Updated List Nuremberg 2016

Steffen,
I'm in 7th heaven, seeing what's now coming out for us aircraft modelers. I know that I'll be buying the 1/32 P-51B and thus a P-51D to seat beside her.
And now that I've come "out of the closet" as a auto/race car modeler of eras long past, to see Ebbro continuing to issue cars of my dreams, is almost more then I can bare.
I've been slowly collecting every one of their releases (finally started to build them with the Lotus 49 as the 1st one), as 2016 is certainly a pinnacle year, with the release of Sir Jack Brabham's magnificent BT-18, Lotuses 88, 88B, and 91. Then there is McLaren's 2015 MP4-30.
Now I have to find a way to break the news to my wife where my Social Security check funds are going to.

Hi Steffen
Thanks for the extra pics. There are certainly a few items I'll be hankering after, but it looks like my wallet will get a bit of a breather this year based on this showing (no bad thing! ). It's really interesting to see Humbrol taking a step into 3D printing - but, equally, it'll be very sad if Dragon do go under - as the song said "You don't know what you've got 'till it's gone".

Hi Rowan,
concerning the wallet: I would not bet on it.... most of the chinese companies are not here and the japanese companies have two more shows at home (Shizuoka and Tokio).... sooo
I have updated the list with more items from catalogs and newsletters... still this is only a fraction of things to come
