Ernest,
Your model is simply stunning! From the pilot to the weathering, to the deck, just outstanding! I like how your cloth-covered elevators and rudder are faded a bit differently... a nice added touch!
Very nice!

Gentlemen, thank you for your kind words. I will post a few more photos when I finish the base.

Ernest,
I just went through all you finished pictures again, and I'm even more impressed this time around. The overall weathering really compliments the build, yet isn't over powering where one spends more time looking at the weathering then the overall build itself. All the elements work very well together. The pilot figure is a really nice extra touch. And that base is just perfect.

Wow lovely ... such a nice build, balance of colours and weathering effects! If I can give you one tip... work a bit on the figure... at least give the mans belt a little wash.

Thank you again for your kind comments Joel. There is a small contest near where I live during the first weekend of April and I am considering entering the build into it, a first for me. I have never considered the quality of my stuff to be good enough for competition, but I may give this build a shot.

Hi Lars thank you for the comments and the tip. I need to work on my photography as the figure actually has some very subtle shading effects that you can see with the naked eye, but my picture taking skills are not good enough to bring that out in the photos.

Really> I am sure you make a big chance on a prize! Even not knowing the skill level at your show... but from what I have seen this is prize worthy! Good hunting!

Lars,
Good luck at the contest next month. As long as you tried your best, you're a winner.
