I have a couple of kit ideas, but nothing decided. Count me in.
There are a couple of possibilities out there.
Welcome Bob!

My entry is a Monogram F105 I picked up on ebay sometime in the past? The nose gear well had been attached to one fuse side and both wings were constructed. Is this OK?
If it aint broke dont fix it.

Here's my entry......Hobbycraft 1/48th scale Bay of Pigs Sea Fury. I will be using white metal landing gear and a Squadron vacuform canopy too.
Rob----great to see a Thud. It's old but I love the Monogram Thud kit.
Best wishes,
Ian
It is a fact that under equal conditions, large-scale battles and whole wars are won by troops which have a strong will for victory, clear goals before them, high moral standards, and devotion to the banner under which they go into battle.

Bob,
That's less than 30% as far as I'm concerned. Go for it!

Thanks Michael, I can now blame you for making me build this humongous airplane
it will probably take all of my paint stock to cover this 105.
If it aint broke dont fix it.

I purchased a dual action gravity fed (probably knock off) on ebay several years ago. It worked OK, but not as much as I would have liked and since I don't know the brand I cannot find parts.
Just ordered a couple of a/b from BEAR AIR:
Paasche: PS2000H (siphon fed old school for wide coverage)with 2 paint bottles and tools.
Bear Claw: HV-CH FBMBD-180(dual action gravity fed)
total with shipping: $107.86
If it aint broke dont fix it.

A chopper certainly might, if it's from a qualifying conflict.

I was going over the conflicts related to the Cold War list and I saw the Korean Airlines flight 007 incident, so I am going to build a Trumpeter 1/72 scale Sukhoi Su-15 TM. I ordered one from Squadron yesterday.
On the bench, Blue Max, Mustang Funny car.
Airfix Hotspur glinder.

At last, three of my favorite cold war aircraft in 1/48 scale modern kits:
Leaning towards the Nesher for this one, from the '73 War.

Now that I have enlisted, it's time to figure out aircraft to pick. I have so many that I want to do. This is going to be a great first campaign for me. Looking forward to starting the build.

I am in for this one. So much stuff to choose from.
Probably a F-111 from the Lybia bombing or an Intruder from Vietnam.
Looking forward to it.

Hey Michael! Does it have to be an offensive aircraft?
I have the Airfix Bristol 192 Westland Belvedere HC1 kit that entered Britain's service in 1961 and ON THE SIDE OF THE BOX it states it was used by the RAF during the Malaysian conflict... 1963-66.
About that "war":
https://www.awm.gov.au/atwar/indonesian-confrontation/ Will this work?

Well I've dug a little deeper and Airfix is correct, this aircraft did see combat... but it was a later production version than what the kit portrays. The whole tail configuration is different so this kit
really didn't see any action. That explains why there are no guns to be mounted.
SO... need to think about it and decide what to do.

Sneaky British model company.
I have no fear that you'll come up with something Jeff!

I need some drawings or a least some better images of the rear wing if I do.
You can always put a suit on a goat... but it's still gonna be a goat. I want it correct and historically accurate.
