Michael, your Albatros is looking fantastic.
I'm itching to start mine after watching your build, but I have too much on my work bench already.

The beauty of your wood grain has been covered pretty well so all i can do is say how correct everyone else is.

Hello,
it is done ... nearly ...
The rigging is completed. I used once again the great turnbuckles from Gaspatch models at each startin-/end point of the ropes. First drilled some holes in the wings and glued the metal turnbuckles in position. Once dry, bend in the correct shape and thread the EZ-Line in the turnbuckles. Then gluing at the start point, stretching when dry, then gluing at the end point.
Now missing the window for the pilot, then ... I think then it is done
Cheers

Hello,
finally the Albatros D.II from German pilot Boelcke is finished. The kit in scale 1/32 is from Encore Models, based on the older Roden kit.
Encore Models added a complete new engine made of Resin full of wonderful details, two frets of photo etched parts and some white metal parts.
I have added some turnbuckles from Gaspatch Models, some EZ-Line for the rigging and gun barrels from master Models.
I hope that you like it!
Cheers
