help needed with finding soviet pilots 1/48

Hi folks,
I am off to embark on my first ever airplane-build and I am planning on doing a Polikarpov as used by the legendary Night Witches.
Found a suitable plane, but pilotfigures I could not find!
Anyone know where to get those or maybe even has some in their sparesbox?
The need to be seated and in 1/48. The rest I can fix.

There are a number of VVS ground personnel and standing figure sets out there in 1/48 with the occasional male seated pilot. I have also see some seated 1/48 Soviet pilot sets by Aerobonus designed for specific kits.

I have not seen any seated female pilot figures, Soviet or otherwise, in 1/48 or any other scale. Sculpting a female figure from a seated male pilot would be a tall order for me!

Hi Brian,
given the fact that the ladies eemed to be wearing male clothing and covered up other female features, like longer hare, it would not require some major surgery.
But I must admit that I am going into uncharted territory here, both in scale as in subject.

You might draw some inspiration from this remarkable build by "Louis." At least half of it is devoted to his scratch build of the female pilot. Extraordinary!

Yet I am guessing not too many of the female features will be visible, once the pilots are inside the plain, where I want to show them.
