Just heard from Joe's, he has one set of props left. I am crossing my fingers the order will get to him before they are sold. Another question, what color were the prop tips in the early 60s? Yellow or red and white stripes? Thanks---John

I painted the radome black and the exhaust area of the wings behind the turbo prop exhaust pipe. I am going to use the Aeroclub props off my old Revell HC-130H. I never was really happy with the way it turned out, the original decals shattered and I had to use Minicraft ones which were red and not orange as all USCG Herks are. So I plan on redoing it in the future using the Minicraft kit with aftermarket decals. So far I scraped the red and white tips to bare metal and have repainted the center section and hubs flat black. Just need to redo the aluminum blades and then yellow tips.---John
