Hai,
Usually, I fix canopies using the microscale white glue that is specially made for this purpose.
I am now buidling a MIG 15 (Tamiya 1/48 scale). The problem is that the transparent parts are so thin that I don't have sufficient "surface" for this glue to make a sufficiently strong join.
I am considering using another glue, maybe superglue?
I fear that the wrong glue may cause the transparent parts to fog up.
Any advice anyone?

I glue all my canopies with tamiya extra thin. All scales.
Never had any problem with it.

I've heard that they aren't making the Extra Thin anymore.

Coating the canopy with Future helps avoid this, as does placing the model in a breeze, such as from a fan. Fogging occurs when the superglue fumes deposit on the canopy surfaces, and they need still air to do that. There are also "non-fogging" superglues on the market.

I have now tried this as well, and it does not seem to cause any problems.

I used non-fogging CA by BSI Bob Smith Industries and it works like a charm. Specifically, I used it on my Buffalo:
