He he, great. In 1/48 scale there should also be a lot of real estate to add decals to. Decals really add nice details - especially to modern jets in this scale.

I agree Jesper, in this scale they add visible details.
But I will spend the next weeks on the cockpit

Dav Jesper!
Is the new Russian Matilda from Tamiya proper for this campaign? I've just received the package from lucky model. Some of the sprues are older and they added some new to make the latest version of this tank, so this model is not completely "hot of the molds".
What do you think about it?

Welcome onboard, Doug.
Looking forward to see what you choose to build.
Got it finally. It was either this or a SA-13 which I thought would be out in June.

Doug, great kit. I did not even know this was out. So many great kits these days. Looking forward to see more.
I have made a bit more progress on my palador general. Still much to do, but I am getting there. More to follow

Good kit thus far with a bit of dry fitting too. My bottom hull was a bit warped so I had to clamp it while it set. You can still see a gap at front slope. There is a bit more flash than I am used to with Trumpeter but nothing that is too bad.
I do really like the Single piece rocket casing. This missile is a beast. It comes with workable tracks which are really nice as well.

Jesper,
That is one awesome figure! Tremendous work on the painting, looks terrific.
I recall your other figure back in HoM 1, and I would rate this last one step above.
Cheers
Pedro
P.S.
Too bad I bought Eduard 109 G-4 over tree last week and am already half way building it... Just completely forgot the ongoing campaign

Started today with unpacking the sprues and a little dry fitting.
Looks quite ok right now. Let's see how it develops

Got started now
Wing with main undercarriage well (7 single parts, very nicely detailed)
Cockpit, the seat had five parts and looks very good for an injected one. No need for resin seat IMHO

Peter, thanks for the nice words on my figure.
You are of to a nice start on your kfir. There are some really awesome camouflage and marking options for this bird. Have you decided which on you will build?

Hi Jesper,
I've decided to build the C7 of the Colombian Air Force. I like the colorful markings
