Terri! That's a beautiful Mustang! I looked at the kit at Telford last autumn and I was really impressed, especially considering that it snaps together! Probably clever to add a little glue as you did though.

What did you use for the metal finish? Alclad? I've grown quite fond of Vallejos new metalizers, good results without the smell!

Yep, she came out beautifully, Terri! Followed your progress silently. I like that you didn't do much weathering on it. Now I feel like I should also build another pony from my stash, but they are all Tamiya.

Thanks guys for the comments

Paul , hope you guys had a excellent holiday . Go ahead and steal away . Canopy still doesn't sit fully right . I have a spare Hasegawa canopy that I will try on the next one . I noted that you are doing Big Beautiful Doll on your build . Will look nice once finished .

Magnus , I used Vallejo Metal Coat for the NMF . Started using them last year and I'm hooked on them . I use to use Alclad , but over time my finishes ended up have tones of cracks .

Torsten , I don't go nuts with the weathering . That used look is what I'm after not the abused look . Pull one out and build one , will be starting another soon but it will be the B model .
