Not to nit-pic, but the Albie Scheme is for Voss's DIII – WnWs only does DVs, So both are only suitable for Roden kits.

From what I read (a fairly long time ago so new data might be about) Voss chose to use the DIII because of the lower wing flaw in the DV. (The wing was a lighter build than the DIII Lower wing an could tear off in a dive or tight turn).
He used the DIII until the DR-1 came along.
