There's a Facebook posting showing what looks like a new French film or TV program called La Guerre des As (War of the Aces, if I remember my HS French correctly). It has some great early WWI CGI generated aircraft, including a Parasol fighter, Voisins, Nieuport 11s, A Fokker DII, DH2, maybe an Albatros BII (might be a Halberstadt though) and some Albatros DIIs. It seems to show Guynemer, Fonk, Udet, Mannock and Richthofen as main characters-- anyone heard of this new TV show? -- it looks like someone finally did some good historical research for the aircraft anyway. Here's the video link:

It looks really great!

Yeah, saw this over on FB, and got really excited!
Tried to find out more, but there was not a lot to be had. IMDB lists it as a TV-mini-series of 5? episodes released this year... But I did find this link to the production company website: (All in french I'm afraid)

Hoping this will appear on HBO/Netflix or similar, and that it'll not just be a "french affair"
