Back in 2014 vdejarnette ran a bomber campaign that drew a lot of interest. I'm wondering if it's time for part 2? Like the earlier build, this one would focus on purpose built bomber aircraft with two or more engines and two or more crew members from WWI thorough today. I'm thinking it would launch around March and, given the size of the subjects, would maybe run for a year.
What do you all think? Anyone interested?
Michael

Hmmm. There's more than a few bombers in the stash. Maybe one of them is small enough to fit on the shelf. B-25, B-26, B-57, B-66, maybe even a 1/44 B-1A?

That's 7 so far, looking good! With
this news I figured our friends in old Blighty would be interested in this one. I know what I'm going to do if we can get it launched!

So what is considered a bomber??? Not to be a PITA, but I've got some WWII twin engines I'm looking at, A-20, A-26 and maybe even a Ventura. They did drop bombs, but they're designated Attack and not Bomber...

I guess they were really kind of light bombers, so I'd say yes. Indeed, the A-26 was later re-designated B-26.

I've got a numer of possibilities but I think I'll build the 1/72 He177 Grief by Revell seems like a perfect chance to build it. Hmmmmm although I do have a couple of AMT A-20's which also seem to be calling me ...... maybe I could do both? I've got time to decide so I'm in no hurry but I can gaurantee one thing I'll probably change my mind ..... again. LOL

Chris,
I’d love to see that Greif build...not a very usual model on this pages.
I guess I’ll be tackling either de Do 17Z from ICM or Dragons Ju188 A, either one in the quarter scale and full of AM goodies.
March is just around the corner and gives me time to complete my build on the night shift campaign.
Cheers

This one?

I was thinking more about He 111, because Greif might be too difficult for me yet, but I am going to follow your build with huge interest.

It will be an interesting model for sure. Hope you choose one of those unusual squiggle camouflages, Chris.
I’m considering one of those for my Ju.188 also.
Cheers

Franck,
I don't think so. I think the Strike Eagle is more a fighter-bomber, and it retains the F- designation. Sorry.
