Hi mates!!
Her comes my new Bf 109 K-4 in 1/48 from Hasegawa. It's a good kit with nice Details. Built out of box. Colors from Revell (Aqua Colors).
With the K-4 (and also the Fw 190 D and the Ta 152), the german aircraft industry was able to catch up with the allied piston engine types in terms of performance. However, the war situation and the scarcity of raw materials and other resources did not allow any significant production figures. In addition, the absence of experienced pilots weighed particularly hard.

My model shows a K-4 ("Kurfürst" = electoral prince) of the II./JG 3, March 1945.

Just read in the footer that You build a B-17 in 1/32 scale. Wow! This will be a huge bird!

Oh, Oliver......the B-17G in 1/32 is really a monster with infinite much components to build. At this buddy I'm building for almost two years.....and there's no end in sight!!!

I second what Oliver wrote, Stefan. Really nicely done! This kit also sleeps somewhere in my stash .... Have you done some research on the pilot or was he a "No Name"? Seeing a finished Bf 109 always makes me feel a little guilty because I should have already started on my long term project on the aircraft Gerd Barkhorn flew, as I have the book and all the decals ....

I'm still working on my Ventura II for the ANZAC Campaign. The main painting is done, just added new photos in the thread. But still a long way to go. Have a look if you like.

I’d say well painted and very sober weathering, much to the real A/c life span.
Are the markings decals or masks? They look too good to be the kit decals or is my eye fooling me?!

The diorama is very nice also.

Pedro, the white crosses are painted otherwise every markings are decals.

Lovely job! It looks really effective on a base with some figures to give a sense of scale. It's a timely reminder to me that I really must try to master painting figures, because they can add so much life to a build.

Yes,Rowan.....a few figures enliven such a small diorama. But I do not give that much trouble. Simply painted with Revells Aqua Colors and a washing with diluted oil paint.
No witchcraft .....
