That would be the AH-64 Apache and the cancelled RAH-66 Comanche. They both pack a punch.

It's got to be the AH-64. After watching them in action in Iraq there is no doubt in my mind it is the most effective helicopter flying and probably in the history of military helicopters.

Howdy fella's,
Hmmm, I'm both surprised, and happy to see the LOACH mentioned a couple of times. I was lucky enough to fly a version of the OH-6 and all I can say is it's a bloody Ferrari!! You just think left, and whoosh! it's gone. She's a bit squirrally at first touch, but once you get the hang of the 'tactile' response's.......she's an absolute dream!!
Tread.
Oh, and not to seem too OPFOR here, but, those Russian helo's are wild! Their configurations have GOT to be the most unique ever!

Has got to be the UH-1 Huey. It was the helicopter that established airmobility as a workable option. Also, I have a lot of miles riding in the back en route to some small LZ. I can still pick out the sound of the UH-1 long before I ever see it.

Is that the 'stretched' version of the Cobra on your banner Whiskey?
I like that too. Ain't no chopper sexier than that one!

Not to mention it's contribution to aviation history.
