Hi mates!!!

Oldie but goldie.....this applies to this kit. Hasegawa's Ki-43 in 1/32 scale impresses with its good fit despite the age.
Colors from Revell and Gunze.
The camouflage scheme I brushed freehand.

My Model shows an aircraft of the 50th Sentai (Fighter Group), 3rd Chutai (Squadron) in 1943.

I agree with Russ on this one-- very very nice. Your figure work is excellent too. Who makes the figures? I've had an Oscar in my stash for many years now--but your presentation inspires me to pull it out and at least contemplating starting it! Did you do any re-engraving of panel lines or other work? Can you tell us some more about the work you did on it?

Now that's one impressive build of the old Hasegawa kit. Very nicely done camo scheme. Both figures really look quite good and add that certain something extra.

And I do like the concept of the wood strips for a base, as it has that oriental feel to it. But the cloth trim detracts from it. I'm thinking it's real function is a table place mat as it curls up at the ends? If not, or you can spare one, I'd remove the fabric edging, and use some wood glue on the bottom to join each piece to the adjoining ones on each side. Now you've got one great looking base.
