Hiya,

we have just started recruiting for a Flattops campaign over on ModelShipwrights. The subjects include Aircraft carriers, LHDs, etc. basically anything with a full length flight deck, but including aircraft that flew from such ships, dioramas also included, but should include all or part of a qualifying vessel.

Running from 1st May 2018, (currently six months, but have asked for 12 months)

This is a cross-network campaign, for both carrier ship models, and models of carrier borne aircraft.

wiki has this amazing picture of the Intrepid heading out of San Francisco in 1944 with a remarkable load of cargo

I see P-61s, PV-1s, SNB-5s, SNJs, a couple of Piper NE-1s, at least 45 Wildcats, and dozens of trucks, jeeps and busses!
