Due to the 100th anniversary of independence of Poland and a centenary of the Polish Air Force I decided to build something with Polish markings:
PZL P.11C Skalski Mirage Hobby 1/48
My model depicts Stanisław Skalski`s mount from September 1939. Skalski was one of the most famous Polish aces with a total of 18 confirmed kills - 5 of which claimed flying PZL P.11C during the September Campaign.
Apart from the Mirage Hobby kit I used Attack Squadron`s resin nose and wheels, Part PE set, Techmod`s decals, Hataka`s Orange line set, Yahu instrument panel, Scibor figure and some scratch built details. I can only say, this is not my last model with Polish khaki scheme.
I`m sorry for the poor quality of the photos.

Filip, that looks good. As a matter of fact, I like the 'poor quality" of your photos... make them more "a l'epoque"!
Nice build and superb finishing / detailing!
Cheers!

Your PZL 11 looks great, Filip! It seems, this Mirage Hobby kit is easier to build than the PLZ 37 I'm currently working on. Flaws, flaws, flaws and more fitting problems. But I'm on the finishing line now. How easy or difficult was your kit to build? What paint did you use for "Polish Khaki"? I have used Revell 381 (Brown RAL 8025), though I think it's not correct. But I had no other paint to come closer to the tone ....
Btw., your photos don't look poor, at least not on my monitor.

Many thanks for your kind words!
Torsten, the kit rather pleasant, there are some minor fitting problems with the fuselage, but nothing serious.
I have PZL 37 Łoś as well, in my stash.
I highly recommend Hataka Orange line of paints. There is a set for Polish Air Force. They`re comparable in quality with MR. COLOR C.

Thanks for the tip on the Hataka paint. I'm building a PZL.42 right now and I love the look you got. I think I'm going to pick that set up. It's nice that they have both Light and Dark khaki in the set.
The set in your plane is amazing. It looks just like old oxidized metal. Just stunning.
